Very chosen few legends in Indian history had the privilege of being honored with the suffix ‘ the Great’ or ‘ Mahaan’ after their name. I recall only three – Alexander, Ashoka and Akbar.
This great title does not come easily. One has to indeed display exemplary greatness to be called.
